Monday and Tuesday brought more errands and classes and not much else. I spent a good deal of time trying to figure out what my plan is for the rest of my time here - so I use everyday to the fullest extent! Time in between was spent researching for the CNRM paper and getting some assignments wrapped up. (and of course packing for Sydney!) I had to be ready bright and early to catch my flight (just so we're all on the same page - I went to Sydney and stayed with Phil's Aunt and Uncle, Ann and Tony, from the 15-21st. I am still catching up on the blogs - I'm only about a week and a half behind now!)
Wednesday I got up super early for fear of missing my flight and caught the very first tram into the city – 5:30am. As I suspected I got confused and got off at the wrong stop (it was dark – I couldn’t read the signs!!!) – anyway I finally navigated my way to the Southern Cross station where I caught skybus (airport shuttle) to the airport for my flight. The flight was smooth and short and soon I was walking through Sydney airport. Ann and Bindi (dog) picked me up and we were on our way to Camden which was about 50 minutes outside of the city. Ann and Tony live in a beautiful house in the countryside. I spent some the evening exploring and getting situated. I worked on homework for the evening and after dinner Ann and I went looking for possums in the yard – and found with a baby on its back. Unfortunately I forgot my headlamp (grr) so my pictures aren’t very clear. Hopefully I’ll be able to figure something out for future nights.
Bindi
Hmm it looked brighter on my computer - hopefully you can still see the baby
My accommodation for the next week :o)
