Day 83 - Lakes Entrance and Lake Tyres

I actually slept in a little on Saturday - be proud of me. After brekkie, Ben and I headed out to Lake Tyres but since it was raining we stopped at a little aquarium/shell museum and checked out a billion shells. It was a bit old fashioned but amusing just the same. By the time we came out the rain had stopped so we headed out to the park and took a walk down the beach and I chased down some shorebirds for photos. We stopped at a true 'fish n' chips' shop for lunch and ordered a big greasy mess of fries and fried shark. It was yummy. On the way home we stop for some photos of Lakes Entrance and the sun even attempted to come out. We decided to try fishing down in the 'backwater' so we picked up some supplies and headed out. I caught two bream, but we let them go. It started to get cold so we headed home and helped Ben's mom make dinner. We decided to catch the first train in the morning so we could get back to Whitley for lunch.
