Day 110 - Friday - Kuranda

Today everyone was up nice and early, me because I like it - my sister and nephew because of Jetlag. Anyway we took a stroll down a little boardwalk outside the hotel in search of something for brekkie and after finding some continued our walk. We saw a bunch of new birds, a very awesome playground, and a big pool! We headed back to the hotel to make some final decisions for which tours to the reef and Cape Tribulation to pick and then we had to rush to make our tour for the day. We headed to Kuranda. We took the skyrail (um scary and high - ok it wasn't that bad but still) which took us up over the rainforest to the village. In Kuranda we visited Koala gardens, bird world, and the butterfly sanctuary. Chad got to hold a Koala and I made friends with a Galah in Birdworld um plus there were lizards everywhere which makes everything cooler. We browsed the markets for a bit before heading back into Cairns on the scenic railway. We hit the shopping centre for some supplies before heading back to the hotel with some pizza. We spent the rest of the evening reorganizing and figuring out what to do next. Tomorrow we head to Cape Trib and I am SO EXCITED!
